Band I (MUS 133) Course Description
This course provides an opportunity for those who play a band instrument to gain experience playing in an ensemble. Emphasis is placed on band techniques and the study and performance of a variety of styles and periods of band literature. Upon completion, students should be able to demonstrate skills needed to participate in ensemble playing leading to performance. This course has been approved for transfer.
Band II (MUS 134) Course Description

This course is a continuation of MUS 134. Emphasis is placed on band techniques and the study and performance of a variety of styles and periods of band literature. Upon completion, students should be able to demonstrate skills needed to participate in ensemble playing leading to performance. This course has been approved for transfer under the CAA and ICAA as a premajor and/or elective course requirement.
Band IV (MUS 234) Course Description
This course is a continuation of MUS 233. Emphasis is placed on band techniques and the study and performance of a variety of styles and periods of band literature. Upon completion, students should be able to demonstrate skills needed to participate in ensemble plying leading to performance. This course has been approved for transfer under the CAA and ICAA as a premajor and/or elective course requirement.
