Woodwind and Brass Workshop June 4

I am excited to organize and be on the faculty for the Woodwind and Brass Workshop at Coastal Carolina Community College, Saturday, June 4, 2022 from 8AM until 3PM. The workshop is for rising freshmen through graduating seniors. Students will learn fundamental approaches to woodwind and brass performance through topics such as proper body and hand positions, articulation, embouchure and tone development, fingerings, breathing, scales, practice strategies, instrument care, and music theory. Students will apply skills through solo repertoire and etude performances in master classes and small-group lessons. The cost to register is $55. Register by May 27, 2022 through Continuing Education.
