Applied Saxophone (MUS 161) Course Description
This course provides individual instruction in the skills and techniques of the saxophone. Emphasis is placed on techniques and styles and the exploration and study of appropriate literature. Upon completion, students should be able to demonstrate proficiency in the studied skills and repertoire through performance. This course has been approved for transfer under the CAA and ICAA as a premajor and/or elective course requirement.
