Damselfly Trio to perform “The little girl never leaves us.”

Damselfly Trio (Liz Pearse, soprano; Chelsea Czuchra, flutes; and Lindsay Buffington, harp) are touring North Carolina performing contemporary chamber music, including my work, The little girl never leaves us. I composed the work for the group in 2018 for The Little Songbook Project. The work features text from Nichole O. Nichols’s work Fast Girls Wear Loud Colors. The original Fall 2018 North Carolina tour was cut short due to the aftermath of Hurricane Florence. I am so happy to be able to finally reschedule their performance at Coastal Carolina Community College. They will be performing my work along with works by Ricardo Zohn-Muldoon, Alfred Zimmerlin, Gion Antoni Derungs, Ursula Mamlok, and George Crumb at Bodenhamer Fine Arts Auditorium at 3PM Sunday, March 1, 2020.
